First of all, the federal politics can NEVER directly influence Quebec immigration policies. This is a well-establised and -known arrangement signed by the Federal and Quebec government decades ago.
Secondly, whichever federal party who would win the majority in the parliament would realise very well that Canada cannot sustain its own population, economic growth and welfare system without brining in immigrants. They would also recognise the essence of and the role played by its flagship immigration programme - Express Entry, letting alone that it was the conservatives who had introduced EE back in 2015.
Why would they ever suspend the role-model in this fierce international game of attracting immigrants? Is it not fair to select immigrants according to factor scores if the higher you score, the more likely you would excel your new life in Canada?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm just putting my 2 cents in.
